I am so excited that Rosalia Libreri, Owner of DaLuciano’s Restaurant (River Grove, IL), has agreed to present at this year’s GF Cooking Expo. Anyone visiting Chicago must stop at DaLuciano’s for authentic Italian food. You won’t believe the gluten-free menu at this restaurant.
My family devours the fried calamari, chicken parmigiana, cannoli and creme puffs (all gluten-free!). You can see thier menu at www.dalucianos.com. If you plan on visiting the restaurant, they open at 4pm daily and reservations are a must!
Rosalia will be teaching us how to make a few of her favorite gluten-free Italian specialties. Her children (4 of the 7 have celiac disease) will be selling her yummy cookies and products at the Expo vendor fair. Don’t miss her!
Other Expo presentations include: Gluten-Free Asian, How to prepare GF food on a budget, Blissful Breakfasts, Entertaining at Home, Nutrition Sessions and much more. All sessions will be gluten and dairy free and you get to taste everything you see prepared on stage.

I am very excited to report that the 2009 Gluten Free Cooking Expo Sponsors are
Better Batter Gluten Free Flours
San-J International, Inc.
The best part about this news is that I truly love the products from these companies! One of the worst parts about running an event is having to promote products that you don’t like. Well, I lucked out! All three of these companies have great product lines and the people at the companies are delightful to work with. I don’t say that about everyone………
I will be highlighting my families’ favorite recipes with products from these companies. As you have already read, I have been trying all of the San-J Asian products and my family has been thrilled. I will report in all of my findings with photos and recipes.
Thanks Sponsors! Jen
Do you have a favorite recipe that you would like to share with the world? We are asking that you share your recipes with us so that we may share them with our readers.
All recipes must be original or have the original source listed. If you have a picture of your favorite dish, that would be great! We will let you know if we publish your recipe. Once submitted, the recipe becomes the property of the Gluten Free Cooking Expo, but we will give you full credit!
We have already received some great recipes from our members and have started to publish them in our e-newsletter. If you would like to receive our monthly e-newsletter, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know you’d like to get the newsletter.
I look forward to receiving your recipes! Jen Cafferty, Founder, The Gluten Free Cooking Expo
